Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sonographer for a 13-week contract in Redding, CA. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts as required)
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Review images for quality and completeness prior to physician interpretation
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Sonographer
• ARDMS certification (or equivalent) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
• Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
