About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Ultrasound in Shelby, North Carolina, 28150!

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• ARDMS or ARRT national certification required. ARDMS anatomy-specific certification not required.
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required. Vascular ultrasound experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working in hospital settings preferred.
• Must be able to work with Siemens Sequoia and P2000 ultrasound systems preferred.
• Ability to multitask and learn quickly required.
• Photo ID required for compliance. NC state licensure not required.

Assignment Details:

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Nights.
• Shift Details: Nights , 3x12.
• Standard Hours Per Week: 36.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Travel status: Travel assignment.
• Floating: Will float between the main hospital and outpatient imaging center as needed.
• Orientation: 1 day compliance modules plus approximately 2 days departmental orientation.
• Scheduling notes: Weekend coverage as needed. Travelers expected to work approximately 75% of holidays.
