Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) 60;
We are 60;seeking 60;a dedicated and compassionate 60;Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) 60;to join a skilled nursing facility team providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services. This role offers the opportunity to work with a primarily geriatric population focused on restoring functional independence, improving safety, and enhancing quality of life. 60;
The COTA will implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist and play a key role in helping residents regain strength, mobility, and confidence following illness, surgery, or hospitalization. 60;
Key Responsibilities: 60;
Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under OT supervision 60;
Assist 60;residents with ADL retraining including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding 60;
Address functional mobility, balance, endurance, and safety awareness 60;
Implement fall prevention strategies and adaptive techniques 60;
Train patients in use of adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies 60;
Accurately document daily treatment sessions and progress in EMR 60;
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including nursing, PT, SLP, and case management 60;
Maintain productivity standards while ensuring high-quality patient-centered care 60;
Ideal Candidate: 60;
Active COTA license in practicing state 60;
SNF or geriatric experience preferred 60;
Strong time management and clinical reasoning skills 60;
Comfortable managing a varied caseload of short-term rehab and long-term residents 60;
