We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injuries, illnesses, or disability. This role supports patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration in a post-acute setting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Missouri Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to document skilled OT services and patient progress in electronic medical records preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cognitive and ADL-focused interventions preferred.
- Experience with adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment recommended.
