Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Jackson, Alabama. Physical Therapy Assistant ~ Discipline: Therapy ~ Shift: 8 hours ~ Employment Type: Travel Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Jackson, AL. Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Alabama PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC required or may be required by facility. Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with restorative nursing programs and documentation in electronic medical records preferred. Ability to perform transfers, ambulation training, therapeutic exercise, mobility device training, and fall risk assessment. Must be able to float to other nearby facilities as requested by the client. Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift days: Monday through Friday with one weekend rotation per month.
