Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (valid for practice in the U.S.)
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (hospital setting preferred)
  
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
  
• Clinical skills: medication administration, IV therapy, patient assessment, wound care
  
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate clinical documentation
  
• Ability to work night shifts, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
  

Responsibilities — Med/Surg RN / Travel Nurse Duties

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical patients on the Med/Surg unit
  
• Perform thorough patient assessments, monitor clinical conditions, and recognize changes in status
  
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and per provider orders
  
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, PT/OT, and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner in the EMR
  
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients, families, and staff; follow infection control and safety protocols
