Travel Radiology Technologist - $880 Per Week

Lux Travel Nurse is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Alpine, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 16 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technician / Clinical Support General Summary Responsible for capturing high-quality digital X‑ray images as ordered by medical providers and ensuring appropriate transmission to consulting radiologists. Maintains radiology equipment, supplies, and records; supports clinical operations; and assists with patient care activities, including medication and immunization administration under provider direction. May be cross-trained to perform additional clinical duties. Key Responsibilities Perform digital radiographic imaging and maintain accurate X‑ray logs and databases Ensure maintenance, quality control, and inventory of radiology and clinic supplies Assist with patient intake, vital signs, EHR documentation, rooming, and clinical procedures Administer medications, immunizations, and PPDs as ordered by providers Support minor procedures, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, EKGs, audiometry, and vision testing Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in quality improvement and continuing education Comply with all organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and training expectations Perform other duties as assigned; work flexible schedules as required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Radiology Technician program with digital radiology experience High school diploma or GED; minimum age 18 Active radiology license/certification, CPR certification, and valid California driver’s license Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment Physical ability to perform clinic duties, including lifting up to 25 lbs Additional Requirements Successful completion of pre-employment screening and health requirements Commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and organizational standards Indian preference may apply in accordance with applicable federal law and policy About Lux Travel Nurse Born from hands-on experience, Lux Nursings team of veteran nurses and travel professionals stands ready to guide you.
