Travel Radiologic Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services at healthcare facilities across the United States. As a Travel Radiologic Technologist, you will rotate between assignments in hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers, delivering accurate diagnostic images while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and clinical excellence. Working as part of the Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to support timely diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiologic procedures, including routine diagnostic X-rays and portable imaging exams, in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. You will prepare and position patients, operate radiologic equipment, select appropriate technical factors, and ensure that all images meet quality standards for interpretation. You will follow strict radiation safety practices, use protective equipment, and adhere to ALARA principles to protect patients, yourself, and staff. Accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and adherence to HIPAA and privacy standards will be essential.
As a traveling professional with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will adapt quickly to new clinical environments, workflows, and teams. You will orient to each facility’s policies, imaging protocols, and electronic health record systems, maintaining a high level of professionalism and flexibility. Strong communication skills are important as you explain procedures to patients, address questions, and collaborate with radiologists and referring providers. You will also assist with equipment care by performing basic quality checks, reporting malfunctions, and supporting a clean and organized imaging environment.
