Join a travel Physical Therapist assignment in Atlantis, FL at a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. Minimum 1 year of current experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation (IP Rehab), or skilled nursing facility (SNF). Ability to work varied day shift hours as needed by the unit. Facility type: Hospital, 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Shift name: Days. Shift hours: 08:30–17:00. Weekend requirement: One weekend per month with weekdays off to balance. Orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg inpatient care. Unit equipment: Treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes. Atlantis is within driving distance to several coastal beaches and is about 30–45 minutes from major Atlantic waterfronts and barrier islands, offering coastal lifestyle and water-based recreation. Cultural and entertainment options include regional museums and performing arts venues in nearby urban centers a 30–50 minute drive away, suitable for an urban-adjacent lifestyle.
