Physical Therapist - Hospital (Travel)
Join a hospital-based therapy team in Atlantis, FL. Provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients recovering from injuries, surgery, or managing chronic conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote functional mobility, independence, and safe discharge. Maintain documentation and communicate progress to patients, families, and clinical staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting is required.
- Demonstrated competency with common inpatient modalities, transfers, gait training, and assistive device recommendations.
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:30 - 17:00.
