Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Massachusetts PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, TENS, hot/cold packs, and therapeutic pool preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to implement treatment plans and document patient progress.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel PTA experience preferred.
- Experience training patients in use of assistive devices, orthotics, or prosthetics preferred.
- Experience with safe patient handling techniques and infection control practices preferred.

- Shift pattern: 5x8.

Impacting Patient Care Nationwide
Provide outpatient rehabilitation services following plans established by the Physical Therapist. Assist with posture training, strengthening, balance, coordination, joint mobility, pain relief, functional skills training, and community re-entry training. Train patients in locomotion using canes, crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs. Demonstrate and instruct in safe use of equipment and modalities. Document patient progress and deliver patient and family education. Participate in team conferences and quality improvement projects. Adhere to safety, infection control, and facility policies.
