American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Urbana, IL, with new graduates welcome to apply.

• Acute care hospital therapy unit
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• One weekend shift per month required
• No holiday shifts required
• Patient population includes all ages across acute care settings
• Epic EMR experience required

• Illinois PT license required (if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• New graduates will be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages, developing and modifying plans of care, and collaborating with the medical team on discharge planning
• Provides supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory standards
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers using appropriate teaching methods
• Utilizes standardized outcomes measures and completes documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for more than 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any location within the system
• RTO is not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Candidates will be interviewed by the facility's clinical leadership prior to selection
