Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Kennesaw, GA working in an outpatient setting. Provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and direct discipline-specific therapy services focused on safe, functional return to community activities. Participate in student education, complete timely documentation including letters of medical necessity and charge entry, and pursue professional development. Maintain professional licensure and follow state practice act and clinic policies. New graduates are allowed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Georgia Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy is required; ability to evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for outpatient populations.
  • Competence in documentation, goal writing, quality indicator assessment, and letters of medical necessity in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Ability to participate in student supervision and provide appropriate clinical instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
  • Additional certifications relevant to outpatient therapy (preferred).

Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday with two evenings until 6:00 PM.
  • Work pattern: 5x8 shift structure.
  • Floating: Candidate may be asked to float to other clinic locations as needed.
