Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Maine Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting in accordance with clinic and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with functional, community-focused treatment programs and safe patient handling techniques.
• Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicators, and letters of medical necessity.
• Willingness to participate in student supervision and contribute to professional development activities.
• Adherence to state Practice Act and maintenance of professional licensure and required continuing education.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic or with Select Medical/large multi-clinic systems.
