American Traveler is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist for an outpatient ortho and worker's compensation setting in Milwaukee, with preferred experience in outpatient orthopedics and a bilingual, community-centered clinic environment.
Details- Part-time outpatient physical therapy position, approximately 20–28 hours per week
- Caseload of approximately 12–15 patients per day, consisting of orthopedic and post-surgical cases
- Primarily adult patient population with a bilingual Spanish-English community focus
- Mix of orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, and worker's compensation cases
- Clinical model includes collaboration between PTs, PTAs, and techs
- Practice operates across two clinic locations within one mile of each other
- Documents using Prompt EMR
- Night shift schedule: 3x8-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- 13-week contract
- Current PT license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- 1–2 years of outpatient orthopedic and worker's compensation experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered
- Experience or comfort working with a bilingual Spanish-English patient population preferred
- Familiarity with Prompt EMR is a plus
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- Clinical focus areas include manual therapy, exercise prescription, patient education, and holistic care delivery
