Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Somers Point, NJ where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This outpatient role focuses on orthopedic care with 60 minute evaluations and treatment. Evaluates assigned patients, develops and modifies treatment plans per patient needs and physician direction, and provides discipline-specific leadership. Documentation, patient and family education, student supervision, and professional development are required. Adherence to safety practices, organizational policies, and professional codes of conduct is expected.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
- Ability to perform 60-minute evaluations and deliver skilled treatment sessions.
- Knowledge of documentation standards, goal writing, and letters of medical necessity.
- Experience delegating and directing discipline-specific therapy services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience participating in student clinical education preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development preferred.
