Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient physical therapy services in Decatur, GA, delivering evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and functional programs to support patient return to community activities. Perform documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with clinic policies and payer requirements. Supervise and delegate to discipline-specific therapy staff as appropriate. Participate in student instruction, complete professional development activities, and maintain compliance with organizational standards and safety practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Georgia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. Experience with functional treatment programs and return-to-community goals preferred.
  • Ability to complete timely, compliant medical record documentation, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity.
  • Demonstrated skills in patient evaluation, clinical reasoning, and development of treatment plans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising or mentoring students or other therapy staff.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic.

Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Monday and Wednesday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • 13-week assignment in an outpatient setting.
