Position Overview
The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of (1) year of experience in CT imaging and Diagnostic X‑ray. A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications. Ability to independently perform emergent studies overnight. Prior emergency or overnight imaging experience. Candidates should be Independent, reliable, and poses strong clinical judgment. Epic charting system experience.
