Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. This role supports patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to regain or improve daily living and work skills. The assignment is located in Ottumwa, IA at a hospital setting. Applicants must hold appropriate licensure and credentials to practice in the state of Iowa.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Iowa occupational therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in an inpatient hospital, rehabilitation, or acute care environment preferred.
  • Experience with ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, splinting, and discharge planning preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred.
  • Certification in specialty areas such as CHT, NDT, or stroke rehab is a plus.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.

Qualifications

  • Active Iowa OT license
  • Bachelor/Master/Doctoral in Occupational Therapy
  • BLS certification preferred
