RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day/night rotation schedule with 36 hours per week

• ASAP start date available

• On-call responsibilities required

• Work in 10-bed Progressive Care Unit

• Must have experience with arterial lines, ventriculostomies, subdural drains, and lumbar drains

• Required experience with hemodynamic monitoring and invasive BP monitoring through arterial lines

• Must be comfortable with Bi-PAP/C-PAP and trach C-PAP patients on ventilators

• Experience needed with low dose pressors, vasoactive medications, and inotropes

• Must have experience administering Mannitol and 3% solutions

• Care for patients with trachs and complex wounds

• Manage various lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients

• Treat patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, TBI, and spinal cord injuries

• Support surgical patients including tumor resections (brain and spine), spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer

• Assist with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) trials with lumbar drains
