Responsibilities
Perform CT scans using specialized imaging equipment
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Verify patient history, identity, and physician orders
Monitor patients during scans and respond to any complications
Review and process CT images for quality and accuracy
Assist radiologists with image interpretation and technical support
Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines
Complete documentation for scans, contrast use, and patient assessments
Perform daily equipment checks and quality assurance tasks
Support and educate staff, students, and new team members
Requirements
Education
Associate degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program
OR
Military training graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program with active ARRT certification
Certifications & Licensure
Current Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license
BLS certification
ARRT registered or registry eligible
Preferred Experience
2+ years of Radiology Tech experience
Previous CT Technologist experience in a hospital or imaging facility
ARRT CT certification preferred
