Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to process cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes
• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to department policies and protocols
• Screen, prepare, and position patients for CT procedures with reference to diagnoses and body part
• Utilize advanced image manipulations such as 3D rendering, reformation and reconstruction
• Evaluate CT studies for quality and completeness
• Send images to PACS system and verify exams in timely manner
• Maintain accurate documentation on logbook worksheet and charging of examinations
• Appropriately administer contrast media as directed by Radiologist
• Maintain radiation safety for patients, staff, and family members
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and answer questions with patience and courtesy
• Must have experience working with GE equipment
• Minimum of 2 years travel experience in CT required
• Level I experience preferred
• Zero to six months of related experience acceptable
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required
• Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) required
• BLS certification required
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology essential
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
