CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Day shift position with weekend coverage
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required
• Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS or equivalent
• Must complete accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Perform wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Operate power injection equipment and maintain venipuncture competency
• Adjust technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality
• Transport and position patients, assist with procedure setup
• Take call when necessary
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure while participating in team environment
• Must be detail oriented with capacity to multitask effectively
