Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of CT experience for a 13-week overnight travel contract in York, Maine.

Details
  • Hospital-based imaging department serving the main campus and seven walk-in care facilities across multiple locations including York, Wells, Sanford, Berwick, South Berwick, and Kittery
  • CT services are provided at the main hospital campus and the Wells location; X-ray services are provided across all locations
  • Modalities include CT, fluoroscopy, radiologic technology, portable radiography, bone densitometry, and C-arm
  • 3x13-hour overnight shifts per week: Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
  • Occasional weekend shifts may be required
  • Position is primarily based at the main campus in York, Maine, but technologists may be required to travel between locations mid-shift
  • Weekly schedule is posted 7 days in advance, though location assignments may change with little notice
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
  • ARRT certification required (CT and/or R); active Maine RT licensure required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Proficiency in CT is mandatory; experience with fluoroscopy, C-arm, portable radiography, and bone densitometry is preferred
  • Must be flexible and willing to work across multiple facility locations as needed
Additional Information
  • Technologist must be willing to perform patient registrations, clerical support, and other duties as needed at off-site walk-in locations
  • Duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the shift location
  • A high degree of flexibility regarding location assignments is critical for this role
  • First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — strong CT experience and adaptability are key selection factors
