About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified CT Tech in Rockford, Illinois, 61020!

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents as indicated, and operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic studies for physician interpretation. You will provide patient-centered care, prepare patients for procedures, and document clinical history and imaging findings according to facility protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography or CT program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or ARRT (R) with CT certification as required by client.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic CT procedures and operating CT equipment, including contrast administration and patient positioning.
• Experience working in mobile imaging or hospital/trauma center environments preferred.
• Ability to alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call as needed. Floating to other facilities may be required.
