Minimum Requirements – Cath Lab Tech

Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Caseload: 8–12 cases per day

Experience:

Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Experience with peripheral vascular interventions and pacemaker procedures
Ability to scrub and maintain sterile field and assist with equipment setup

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Certifications / Licensure:

ARRT (R) – Required
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
Fluoroscopy Permit (pending accepted if already applied)
RCIS not accepted

Left & Right Heart Catheterization
Coronary Angiography
PCI / PTCA
Cardiac Stent Placement
Hemodynamic Monitoring
Temporary & Permanent Pacemaker procedures
Peripheral / Vascular Procedures:
Angioplasty
Peripheral Angiography
Thrombectomy / Thrombolysis
Central Venous Access
Carotid Angiography / Stenting
Interventional Procedures:
Embolization
Paracentesis / Thoracentesis
IVC Filter Placement
Liver Biopsy
Gastrostomy Tube Placement

Equipment / Systems:

Fluoroscopy systems
PACS imaging systems
Experience maintaining Cath Lab equipment and inventory

TheraEX Staffing Services Job ID #. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
