Hospital-based diagnostic radiology department performing general X-rays, fluoroscopy, and specialized radiographic procedures 4x10 hour overnight shifts, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM (Third Shift) 40 hours per week Requirements
Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology program Active ARRT certification Current BLS certification Active Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure required if applicable Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and radiation safety practices Prior experience working as a Radiology Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred Additional Information
Perform general X-rays, fluoroscopy, and specialized radiographic procedures per physician orders and established protocols Responsible for patient care preparation including obtaining medical history, positioning patients, and monitoring for distress during examinations Apply ALARA radiation safety principles to minimize patient and staff exposure to ionizing radiation Perform image quality review and basic processing techniques including cropping, collimation, and annotation Conduct quality control tests on radiographic equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards Document examination details, imaging findings, and radiation exposure records in the EMR or RIS Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate imaging services and patient care American Traveler Job ID #P-704383.
