Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Tucson, AZ. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in an acute hospital setting. The role involves assessment, individualized treatment planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, documentation, supervision of COTAs and students, and adherence to patient and employee safety practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in an acute hospital setting is required.
• Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants or students is required.
• Demonstrated competency in patient assessment, development of individualized treatment plans, and documentation per facility policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols preferred.
• Prior experience participating in interdisciplinary teams and discharge planning preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
