Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.How you’ll make an impact in this role Capture accurate patient care journeys by extracting key medical records in real time and retrospectively to ensure high-quality data is available for national and state trauma reviews.Determine registry eligibility for incoming cases based on national trauma care guidelines to ensure the hospital remains compliant and aligned with top-tier care standards.Maintain registry timeliness by completing 80% of patient records within 60 days of discharge, meeting strict national benchmarks for data readiness.Coach healthcare teams on documentation best practices to ensure a patient's clinical presentation is accurately captured, driving better tracking of injury severity and care quality.Resolve data and coding discrepancies independently or in collaboration with leadership and vendors to safeguard data integrity and support continuous process improvement minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.What additional preferences we're seeking 5 year of Trauma Surgical Nursing experience.
