Essential Job Functions:

  • Gather functional and business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Conduct process discovery sessions and workflow assessments.

  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or AI-driven improvements.
  • Recommend data-driven process enhancements aligned with business strategy.
  • Partner with internal developers or third-party vendors to oversee implementation efforts.
  • Create scalable documentation and process standards that improve knowledge retention and onboarding.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data from enterprise systems to support decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to measure process effectiveness.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies or operational issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across systems.
  • Configure and support workflow automation tools where applicable.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and process standards.
  • Serve as liaison between business units and technical teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation for new processes or system changes.
  • Support change management initiatives related to system and process improvements.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, process improvement, or workflow optimization.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate operational pain points into structured documentation.
  • Experience gathering requirements, mapping workflows, and producing process documentation.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and workflow automation platforms; ability to evaluate and recommend solutions.
  • Proficiency with process mapping and workflow design tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN platforms).
  • SQL and data analysis skills; experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, data analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems a plus.
  • Industry background in construction, environmental services, oil & gas, energy, or adjacent operational industries is a plus but not required.
