About the Role
Description Job Summary The Systems Accountant is responsible for maintaining, ensuring accuracy, & providing visibility over the flow of data between broking systems, ERPs, & treasury systems. Creating & owning daily reconciliation & ensuring a source of truth exists. Essential Duties Subject matter expert for cross system flow of brokerage data Maintain a daily multi-system reconciliation to ensure completeness of data The Systems Accountant must be able to recognize data issues and work with providers of data to resolve problems Identify & document data quality, variance, and system issues regarding flow of data Communicate cross functionally to resolve any issues that arise from reconciliation Responsible for end-to-end flow of data from billing & incoming cash to payments & treasury activities Provide constant & detailed visibility to leadership of the state of invoices, policies, & client accounts via dashboards & ad hoc reporting Work cross functionally with Data Analysts, Accounting Analysts, DBAs & others to ensure quick resolution of issues Identify gaps in process & work with accounting & technology teams to define & maintain best practice Skills Brokerage or insurance experience Analysis SQL PowerBI Data Data analysis Top Skills Details Brokerage or insurance experience Analysis SQL PowerBI Additional Skills & Qualifications Stakeholders for this role will be the Benefits team, IT functions, and Insurance Accounting team. Effective communication skills. Need someone with initiative who is not afraid to speak up, who works well on their own and does what is needed without needing to be told. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
