Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Overview:
Our client in the Poughkeepsie area is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join their growing team. This role will play a key part in supporting daily supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to manage timelines, pricing, and order accuracy
  • Assist with demand planning and forecasting to support production and sales needs
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues, including delays, shortages, and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting within ERP systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or inventory management
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
