Summer Pharmacy Intern
About the Role
Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
Prefer good math skills so you can fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.

The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled.
Responsibilities
- Assist in practice of pharmacy under supervision
- Enter and process prescriptions
- Provide customer service to patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligible for pharmacy-related training/education
- Strong communication skills
