License: Valid State License required

Certifications: CRCST or CBSPD

Must-Have:

  • Ability to lift and carry twenty-five (25) pounds
  • Capable of pushing and pulling carts
  • Tolerate prolonged standing
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and be computer literate
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations

Description: LOCAL TRAVELERS ONLY Weekends, on-call, and holidays required with rotating schedule, every other weekend. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred qualifications include tracking system knowledge. Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing surgical instruments, equipment sterilization, and maintaining inventory. Knowledge of High-Level Disinfection procedures and sterilization standards is essential. Candidates must possess skills in equipment documentation and sets/trays assembly. The work environment requires effective team collaboration and adherence to strict safety protocols. The dress code policy includes no facial hair, no acrylic nails, and no unnatural hair color. Visible body piercings, except for earrings, must be covered. In addition, personnel are not permitted to wear earrings that extend beyond the earlobe or hoop earrings. Personnel must have a thorough understanding of sterilization procedures and protocols. Candidates should also be prepared for additional training modules as part of orientation.
