About the Role

Ochsner Health - - Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to patients, guests, family members and employees and effectively communicating with patients throughout their medical experience; Explains insurance benefits and collects co-pays, deductibles and self-pay portions due, and informs patient of financial responsibility; Researches and resolves issues impeding efficient registration of accounts and monitors work queues for accuracy; Researches and resolves complaints regarding customer service, registration, authorization or scheduling; Monitors and maintains productivity and accuracy to meet department goals and document activity

Qualifications

  • Experience in patient access or health insurance?
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and co-pays preferred?
