Software Engineer

Summary

We are actively seeking a Software Engineer for a direct hire position. This role supports design, integration, testing, and validation of autonomy software for off road vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate autonomy software with uncrewed platforms
• Collaborate with hardware teams for seamless integration
• Configure and test interfaces between systems and subsystems
• Troubleshoot integration issues for smooth operation
• Implement autonomy algorithms for navigation and decision-making
• Support validation through real-world testing
• Contribute to local R&D activities concerning payloads and mission systems

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of autonomy software integration experience
• Experience with unmanned ground vehicle or robotics
• Proficiency in software development tools and life cycle
• Skills in problem resolution, system tuning, and system upgrades
• Experience capturing and analyzing data logs for corrective action plans
• Familiarity with priority mission payloads
• Knowledge of Linux, Docker, Nvidia, and robotics libraries
• Experience with off-road equipment
• Willingness to travel up to 60%

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of defense industry practices, regulations, and standards
