Specialist, Software Engineering L3Harris is currently seeking a software engineer with a background and experience in embedded real-time software development. The qualified candidate will have exciting, challenging, and rewarding opportunities to support existing and develop next generation military communications applications. The software engineers working in this field often work on a variety of cutting edge projects over their careers, as we design embedded systems for the ground, air, shipboard, and space-based communication systems. Contribute to lifecycle of embedded real-time systems by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and updating developmental and fielded systems Contributes to the development of technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by providing effort estimation, rationale (basis of estimate), and risk analysis based on Statements of Work (SOWs) Ability to obtain and retain a security clearance is required for this job posting Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
