Senior Product Owner
About the Role
Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Product Owner / Experience Analyst to lead product delivery within an Agile environment. This hybrid role combines product ownership, delivery leadership, and user experience collaboration, requiring a candidate who can effectively bridge business, technology, and design. This is a hands‑on role for someone who not only defines product requirements but also drives execution, ensures alignment across teams, and delivers high‑quality outcomes. Position Title: Senior Product Owner Location: Merrifield, VA, United States Position Status: Contract Pay Rate or Salary: $65.00/hr on W2 What You’ll Do Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business goals and maintained at least two sprints ahead Define and refine epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support efficient development and testing Lead Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product demonstrations Drive product roadmap development and release planning to ensure timely and successful delivery Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, QA, and UX/UI designers Proactively identify and resolve production issues, risks, and escalations Champion and coach Agile and Scrum best practices across teams Take ownership of the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from concept through delivery and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For Proven experience in Product Ownership within Agile environments (Scrum or SAFe) Strong backlog management and prioritization skills, with a focus on delivery outcomes Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog and workflow management Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills Demonstrated ability to lead delivery, not just define requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience in mortgage or real estate lending domains Familiarity with Pega platforms Understanding of .NET or web‑based application development Exposure to QA/testing processes and methodologies Experience collaborating with UX/UI teams to enhance user experience About Seneca Resources Seneca Resources is a client‑driven provider of strategic Information Technology consulting services and Workforce Solutions to government and industry.
