  • Compensation Plan: Depending on qualifications/experience, this opportunity can offer up to a base salary of $135,000.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The company is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Machining (CAM & G-Code) to join their Operations team. This role is a key contributor to driving manufacturing excellence through process development, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work closely with production, quality, and design engineering teams and be part of a team that values problem-solving, accountability, and ongoing growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize CNC machining processes using CAM software and G-code.
  • Create and maintain setup sheets, tool paths, and standardized process documentation.
  • Lead DFM reviews and collaborate with design, production, and quality teams.
  • Provide technical support for process launches and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
  • Analyze machining issues and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Support GR&R studies, capability analyses, and first-article inspections.
  • Collaborate with controls engineers to develop robotic systems and automation cells.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for lights-out machining and process automation.
  • Mentor technicians and support process standardization across machining platforms.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup, programming, and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in CAM software, G-code, and machine simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and CMM programming.
  • A track record of reducing scrap and improving productivity and quality.
  • Experience mentoring machinists or technicians in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex machining and tooling challenges independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles.
