Senior Data Platform Engineer
About the Role
A company is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and own a foundational data layer for their platform. Key Responsibilities: Decompose a monolithic MySQL system into domain-oriented data stores and establish data contracts Design and implement data pipelines and manage canonical entities and schemas Structure data for AI and ML workflows, enabling cross-system visibility and integration Required Qualifications: 5-10+ years of experience in software or data engineering, focusing on production data systems Strong experience in designing and building data systems and distributed architectures Deep understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and system boundaries Experience in event-driven or behavioral data systems and identity resolution CS degree or equivalent experience
