About the Role
Ascension - 4230 Harding Road - Responsibilities: Navigate Insurance Logistics: you will proactively confirm coverage and secure necessary pre-authorizations for scheduled procedures; Empower Patients through Clarity: you will have transparent, compassionate conversations with patients and providers regarding insurance limitations or unauthorized services; Coordinate with Precision: acting as a liaison, you will keep both patients and practitioners informed on the status of referrals and authorizations to prevent any surprises on the day of service; Master the Details: you will maintain meticulous records of all billing activities and claims, ensuring our daily reconciliation process is accurate and every patient account tells a clear story; Support daily billing reconciliation and ensure accurate patient accounts through meticulous documentation

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of billing/insurance experience
