About the Role
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Mishawaka, IN (100% on-site)
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $70,000 – $81,000
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations in a fast-paced, project-based environment. This role will play a key part in month-end close, payroll processing, and financial reporting, while providing oversight of day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
- Process semi-monthly payroll and ensure accuracy of timesheet reporting
- Review and support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Assist with billing cycle coordination and financial data accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for leadership review
- Support ongoing process improvements and cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Exposure to payroll processing
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
