About the Company and Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- CFS is partnering with a manufacturing client to find a Senior Accountant on a contractual basis
- This position can become permanent for the right candidate depending on performance and the needs of the business

- Schedule: 8am-5pm (with some flexibility) M-F. Work an 8 hour schedule, 40 hours per week!
- Position is 100% in office in Laurel, MD
- Salary: $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience
Job Duties for the Senior Accountant:
- Handle AP, AR, and payroll duties
- Manage general ledger accounting
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Perform account reconciliations
- Analyze budget variances
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years' full cycle accounting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
