Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 12:30 PMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry and support controlled movement throughout the location.
- Support day-to-day security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with site personnel, and following post orders and response procedures during routine and elevated activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
