Job Description As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Troy, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Monday to Friday 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, screen individuals and/or vehicles as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, materials, and/or operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or facility concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
