Description:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Work with business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and objectives.
- Document requirements through BRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze business needs and map them to Salesforce functionalities.
- Partner with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Architects to design scalable solutions.
- Recommend Salesforce features and best practices based on industry standards.
- Support configuration decisions including objects, fields, flows, validation rules, etc.
- Support end to end project lifecycle from planning to go live.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Assist in UAT planning, testing, and validating solutions before deployment.
- Prepare user documentation, training material, and release notes.
- Conduct training sessions to improve user adoption.
- Support post deployment activities and enhancements.
- Analyze data requirements and support data migration activities.
- Build or assist in building reports & dashboards to support business insights.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Provide ongoing recommendations for platform improvements.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other clouds.
- Ability to create flows, reports, and dashboards (even if not an Admin role).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, etc.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADMa `201)
- Salesforce Business Analyst Certification
- Agile certifications (CSM, PSM) are a plus
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience working on Salesforce projects.
