Rn, Registered Nurse, Per Diem, Night Shift - Icu, Intensive Care Unit

Methodist Hospital, part of SA Health, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Telemetry unit in JOB-CITY, JOB-STATE. As a key member of our Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for adult and geriatric patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes. In this role, you will monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, promptly recognize and respond to arrhythmias and changes in patient status, administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and hospital protocols, and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record. You will perform comprehensive assessments, manage post-procedural cardiac patients, support patients with heart failure, ACS, and other cardiovascular conditions, and provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, lifestyle modifications, and discharge planning.
