Rn, Registered Nurse, Per Diem, Night Shift - Icu, Intensive Care Unit

Altru Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Altru Health System, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in our rehabilitation hospital setting. As a key member of an integrated, community-owned health system based in Grand Forks, ND, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions. In this role, you will deliver direct bedside care, including comprehensive patient assessments, development and implementation of individualized care plans, administration of medications and treatments, and close monitoring of patient progress. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate rehabilitative care, support safe transitions, and promote optimal functional outcomes for each patient. Using evidence-based nursing practice and sound clinical judgment, you will educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, therapy goals, and self-care strategies to support long-term recovery and wellness. You will practice in a collaborative, team-oriented environment that reflects Altru’s culture of compassionate care, innovation in treatment, and strong commitment to community health.
