Rn Manager
Good Samaritan
Dell Rapids, South Dakota, US
About the Role
Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking an experienced, mission-driven RN Manager to lead our nursing team in delivering comprehensive, holistic healthcare services to underserved communities. In this role, you will oversee daily nursing operations within our community-focused healthcare and medical services department, ensuring that patient care is safe, compassionate, and aligned with our commitment to wellness, integrity, and meaningful health outcomes.
The RN Manager will provide hands-on leadership to a team of registered nurses and clinical support staff, modeling a patient-centered approach and fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and collaboration. You will coordinate clinical workflows, manage staffing and schedules, and help shape evidence-based practices that improve access to care, support chronic disease management, and address the social determinants of health affecting our patients.
Working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team, you will promote integrated care that supports the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each patient. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality and safety initiatives, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and infection control standards.
The RN Manager will also play a key role in staff development, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to support professional growth and clinical excellence. You will help onboard new team members, identify training needs, and encourage continuing education, with a focus on community health, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care. In partnership with leadership, you will contribute to strategic planning and program development that advance Good Samaritan’s mission to expand access and improve health outcomes in underserved neighborhoods.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values community engagement and long-term relationships with patients. While primarily based on-site to support direct clinical operations, there may be opportunities for limited hybrid administrative work, depending on operational needs. Candidates should be passionate about community health, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic clinical setting, and able to lead with both clinical expertise and compassion.
