Job Summary and Qualifications

The Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse 60;is responsible for 60;collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedto:assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• You will be performing patient rounding 60;in an effort to 60;maximize patient satisfaction and quality standards.

• You will 60;demonstrate 60;knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.

• You will promote customer service initiatives.

• You are given the opportunity to 60;utilize 60;nursing 60;process for individual care to meet 60;needs 60;of patients.

• In this 60;role 60;you will 60;demonstrate 60;your ability to perform technical skills and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing

• Current BLS certification

• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire
